DigiTimes summarize monthly activities to monitor the successes and failures of the company .  Results of October, according to this resource for Asus were not very cheerful: revenues declined by 14.1% in the sequential comparison and by 7.5% year on.  However, in the first ten months  this year, Asus has gained only 0.6% less money than in the same period last year. One of the important factors that influenced the dynamics of Asustek revenue in October - a decrease in sales volumes of smartphones.  In November and December the company now does not make overly optimistic forecasts.  At the end of the year it is unlikely to sell the planned number of smartphones - 25 million units.. But the popularity of the middle and upper price level models will allow to achieve a decent profit in this activity area  . This year, Asustek is unlikely to sell more than 19 million laptops -. The same number were sold last year.  But the increase in the share of expensive laptops will play into the hands of the manufacturer.  Graphics cards will be sold no more than last year - about five million units and motherboards for the year will be sold from 17 to 17.5 million.
